Sunbridge Nepal delivers the most advanced solar PV systems, custom financing and progressive sustainability practices. And our fully-integrated design approach to solar systems (grid-tied and off-grid), battery storage and, energy monitoring software makes our unique solar solutions a sound investment with greater peace of mind.

Founded in June 2016, Sunbridge Nepal is a for-profit organisation involved in the sustainable energy sector. With its prime focus on off-grid rural installations, Sunbridge Nepal specializes in Solar PV water pumping and is proud to have completed the largest multi-stage water lifting project in Nepal.  Our primary focus is on solar PV solutions for electrification. Our experienced team has been a part of some major innovative solar PV works here in Nepal. Our product line comprises of Trina Solar modules and Jinko Solar modules, World’s no 1 PV module manufacturer (Bloomberg 2017), Pedrollo Water Pumps (Italian Premium water pump brand), Penguin Water Pumps (Indian Premium water pump brand), HBL Batteries (Indian Premium Energy brand) and state of the art on-grid and off-grid inverters from Fronius, SMA, Victron, Sungrow to name a few.

Jeevan Baidya

Director and co-founder

Mr. Baidya is an experienced Solar Engineer and project manager with more than 10 years of experience in designing and managing large-scale solar projects in Kathmandu and outside. Mr. Baidya was the overall technical lead for a 76KW Solar Minigrid design and installation project at 3 villages of eastern rural Nepal in March 2015. Some of the other projects he has managed are EVK2, Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu, US Embassy, Kathmandu, and various schools and health posts of rural Nepal.Mr. Baidya has a Bachelors’ degree in Electronics and communication engineering from Khwopa Engineering College. .

Santosh Basnet

Director of Business Development

Santosh Basnet is a veteran in his own right when it comes to implementing and coordinating projects on the ground.  He has more than 8 years of experience working on community-based solar projects. Mr. Basnet does have very good skills in community handling and resource management. He also has very good experience in developing and implementing solar water pumping projects in rural Nepal.

Santosh holds University degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kantipur Engineering College.

Sarbagya Ratna Tuladhar

Director of Engineering

Sarbagya Ratna Tuladhar is an extremely knowledgeable engineer with deep hands-on knowledge of solar PV system design and installations. He has more than 10 years of experience working in various government and private projects. cooking stoves guidelines. Sarbagya has also been a volunteer with EWB Australia.

Sarbagya holds a Masters degree from University of Technology, Sydney, Postgraduate Degree in Sustainable Energy from Macquarie University, Sydney and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kathmandu University, Kathmandu.
