Arizona State University will be contributing towards the installation of 2 solar PV water pumping project for irrigation in Godhar village of Kawasoti Nagarpalika in Nawalpur District. Following up from their work exactly a year in Devchuli, Rajahar in Nawalparasi (then), ASU students will be engaged in the construction and installation of 2 solar PV water pumping systems in Godhar village.
The project is now complete with 2 water pumping systems of 5HP each being installed at 2 locations in Godhar District. An approximate average daily discharge of 300,000 litres has been achieved able to irrigate a total of 30 acres of land in this village.
