We have teamed up with OLE Nepal (www.olenepal.org) to provide solar PV power to 15 schools in Darchula District. The installation will comprise of approximately 1kWp of solar array, 3.6kWh of battery bank and a 1700VA PCU at each of these schools. The installation is expected to be completed within the 2nd week of July 2018.
The electricity generated using this solar PV will be used to power the low-power, low-cost XO laptops by the name of E-Paati to enable learning using open-source solutions for school children.
